Happy New Year from all of us at Team Blackbolt. We hope you had a great 2009 and we wish you an even better 2010.
More news on the next releases for both Ellipsis and Xperience will be posted within the next few days, including new view types that are coming to Ellipsis, bug fixes to increase perfomance especially in Library mode and even some stuff you'd never guess!
Release: Xperience Beta One for XBMC

Welcome to Xperience for XBMC, Team Blackbolt's Team Bravo brings you one of the most innovative skins to come to the platform, now in beta status and available publicly for all to enjoy.
Thanks goes out in massive proportions to Rocky5, and Arcanthur who with their help have brought Xperience from a vision in my head to a reality. Without you guys I'd still be behind the times, so thank you so much for seeing that this project was worth your time, and for helping out!
Thanks also goes to Team Blackbolt's Team Alpha (Blackbolt, and EqUiNoX) for all of their support and encouragement during the development of Xperience.
Xperience Beta is in NO WAY a complete project, we are quite sure you'll find a few bugs even after we have had our Alpha Status testing. So please if you find something please post in the forums either at http://forum.teamblackbolt.co.uk/, or http://xbmc.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=128 and we will do our best to respond in a timely fashion to anything you may find.
Now go have fun and we hope you will enjoy our skin as much as we have making it for everyone to experience (pun intended).

Xperience Trailer 2 with Special Announcement

We present Xperience Trailer 2, an updated look at Xperience and for the first time in HD. You can view this new trailer below or also by visiting the Xperience project page here, to view in HD, follow the link to the HD video at vimeo.com here.
As announced during Trailer 2, Xperience will be made available for download for everyone during the Christmas weekend of December 26th - 27th 2009. We hope that you can take a moment from your busy holiday period to try it out and give us some feedback in our forums.
Update: Ellipsis Beta 1.1 for XBMC

We've done a few fixes thanks to those awesome people on our forums and also over at the XBMC forums. Thank you so much for a very successful first weekend. There's been a mix of positive and constructive critisim and we've taken a lot of ideas onboard for the near future. Fix list below for Beta 1.1:
Fixed:
- Shutdown menu arrows missing.
- The Nav Guide crashed Linux version of XBMC.
- Plugin Settings, can now select ok/cancel.
- When bringing up the dock on the bottom of the screen on some views it overlaps the info of the media.
- Time Theme is now behind background visualisation and video.
- Clock fixed for all languages.
- Various missing translations.
- Unicode Fonts (we hope!) Let us know
Added:
- OpenSubtitle OSD support.
This build is Beta 1.1 and is now available for download here on the Ellipsis Project page.
Release: Ellipsis Beta One for XBMC

Finally, after 12 long months of development, some would say years, we've made it. With many thanks to the recent closed beta, the testers where able to find some bugs, suggest new ideas and generally play their part in making this first public release much better.
To use Beta One, you will need to have the very latest release of XBMC, we recommend at very least, Camelot Beta 1. Using older builds of XBMC will cause some elements of Ellipsis to be shown incorrectly. We recommend third-party builds from here until official builds are available, remember use at your own risk. We also recommend you visit the Team Blackbolt Beta section for more important information related to using the beta.
So without further delay I present:
