XBMC Virtual Controller out now...

XBMC Virtual Controller is another application written by EqUiNoX.
The application can be used to control XBMC as if you have a remote control using XBMC's event client.
It comes complete with a skinning engine (including a debug mode) and thus you can easilly create your own great looking original themed remotes.

There is Still Time! Ellipsis Progress Report #2

Xperience began its alpha preview at the weekend and it appears to have gone better than expected. Many people have joined our forums and been helping us fix bugs, make changes and fixes more easily and quicker. This is good news for Ellipsis if the beta test goes just as well.
While Team B have been testing and fixing bugs, Team A have been working hard to bring Ellipsis to a beta stage. The Library mode has been getting its overhaul and we feel is much more suited to how the rest of the skin has turned out. Once the beta goes out friday, more screenshots will be added to the media section. Things are going very well but theres still a couple of days of hard work before some lucky few will get their hands on what has been nearly a year of daily hard work.
There is still time to apply for the Ellipsis Closed Beta Progam. We will close the application process for Beta Zero at midnight (GMT) tomorrow, November 5th 2009. If you would like to help us test Ellipsis from this Friday onwards, then click the yellow 'beta' button at the very top right of this website, all the information is on that page.
For those of you not wishing to, or are unable to qualify for the closed beta, we will hopefully be able to launch the very first Public Beta late November/Early December, all depending how well testing goes with Beta Zero.
For those media freaks amongst you, there is a new Xperience trailer in the works. Ellipsis still has another trailer up its sleave before launch and our friends at ActionCorp TV are putting together another podcast preview next week too.

5...4...3...2...1 Forums are Go!

Just in time for the Alpha Preview release of Xperience this weekend, we've added our own forum section to the site. You can click the link located at the top of the page to take you right there.
Forums aren't limited to alpha or beta testers, anyone can join up and chat. This is a place free from prejudice or outside interference. We will be on hand to answer your questions, take on board your ideas and feedback and also if you just wanted to chat.
The Xperience Alpha Preview will kick in this Saturday, October 31st 2009. It’s too late to get into the alpha now if you aren’t already in, but you never know, another alpha or even beta stage program could happen in the future. Also don’t forget to check out the beta page for info about the Ellipsis Closed Beta Program, there is still time to gain entry.
Ellipsis Closed Beta - Beginning Nov 6th 2009

Friday November 6th 2009. This will be the day that Ellipsis will be made available to those who have qualified for entry into the closed beta program.
It has been a very long and extremely difficult project to work on and we really can't wait to share it with the most dedicated of users. The feedback we will recieve will help develop Ellipsis into more than we could ever do alone. Even though we've been working on this for a while now, we really do feel that it's something special, each window being carefully crafted to be as easy to use as possible. We've tested the skin on our grannies, our grandchildren, our dogs, just kidding about the last one, or are we....? Yes we are, dogs can't use XBMC, that would be absurd! Also I'll mention we finished our credits section today, all the beta testers names will be up in lights, we think you'll like what we've done!
Anyway as you can probably tell we're more than a little bit excited to let a special few of you very generous and gracious people into our world for a little while before we let everyone in. November 5th is the deadline to qualify for the beta, releasing the next day, Nov 6th. Catch you guys then!
Ellipsis Beta & Xperience Alpha Details

You may have noticed there is a new button on the top right of the navigation menu, beta. We now have a dedicated section for details on how to gain access to the Ellipsis Closed Beta Program and also the Xperience Closed Alpha Program.
So if you would like to learn how to get hold of both skins early, visit the beta section.
